Brigg in Bloom...if this event, as we know it, does not go ahead, may I suggest that the Council allows and primotes:
1. Supply plants to individuals who wish to adopt a planter/ site within the town.
2. Seek volunteers who are willing to work on a safe rota basis on the Brigg's Brigg in Bloom allotment - ie nurturing biennials, constructing facilities. Able to work on own initiative following BTC guidelines etc.
3. Encourage, keen self-isolating gardeners with the extra incentive of growing and developing a home plant nursery for next year's Brigg in Bloom.
Incentive could also apply to home-based handifolk in construction/design of allotment/greenhouse equipment, raised beds etc...
Could also apply to those of a scientific orientation....soil testing analysis of allotment site..correlating species to soil type...suggesting on how to alter pH value/ texture of soil/growing medium both in allotment and planters...

In addition to above....divert some of the finances from this years Brigg in Bloom to purching a nursery greenhouse and associated equipment for allotment site.....
