COUNCIL MAKES DECISION ON BRIGG PUB APPLICATION FROM WETHERSPOON'S




Wetherspoon's has been granted permission to place tables and chairs outside the front of its White Horse pub and restaurant in Brigg town centre.
North Lincolnshire Council recently approved an application submitted on behalf of the firm, relating to Wrawby Street.
It sought permission to place tables and chairs "on the public highway" outside the White Horse.
"The chairs will be removed but the tables to stay out," Wetherspoon's said in its application.
Grandad's Shed, which houses the Loft Restaurant, made a similar application for permission to have tables and chairs outside its premises in the pedestrianised part of Wrawby Street.
A spokesperson for North Lincolnshire Council told Brigg Blog that authorisation had been granted for Grandad's Shed - permitted hours  being 9am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
The spokesperson said authorisation for the White Horse was 8am to midnight, Sunday to Thursday, and 8am to 1am, Friday and Saturday.
