ALL SHIP SHAPE THANKS TO DONATION FROM BRIGG FREEMASONS
Brigg Freemasons have made another donation to help and support a worthy cause.
They told Brigg Blog: "Scunthorpe Sea Cadets provide fantastic opportunities for the young people of our area. Through various activities and adventures, they learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of themselves. These are all traits we admired in Freemasonry and we are therefore incredibly pleased to support them for another year with a donation of £500.
"The WM (Worshipful Master) David Hurst, accompanied by the Charity Steward, Trevor Mason, and Treasurer, Robert Kitching, were honoured with a parade and invited to inspect the unit.
"Afterwards, they were shown a variety of activities that the cadets undertake such as radio skills and first aid. The cadets are a credit to the area!"
