SORRY TO PUT A SPOKE IN THE BRIGG WHEEL, BUT...

Many of us enjoyed watching top professional cyclists racing through Brigg almost two weeks ago on the OVO Energy Tour of Britain's North Lincolnshire Stage.
And  some of us turned out last Sunday to watch amateurs trace the same route on a fun ride, the North Lincolnshire Sportive.
However, we are now beginning to wonder how long it is going to be before the many green-painted bikes that adorn the A18 in Brigg, and elsewhere, are removed from view.
Other people we know are thinking along similar lines.
Will North Lincolnshire Council be taking them away en masse?
And what will become of these lean, green cycling machines?
Once collected, they might make an interesting display or museum exhibition. Especially as many have meaningful messages attached (see picture).
Just a thought...

They could be recycled, Nige....otherwise the town could be saddled with them!
