The quiz-master ran the show from a laptop on the bar, and the teams used smart-phones or tablets to submit their answers.
The picture round saw an image of a band appear on each mobile device in the bar.
This shows how much technology has changed. We can recall a Brigg pub quiz in the 1980s or 1990s when people were really impressed to receive what would now be seen as a very low quality image printed out on an A4-sized sheet of white paper.
Young people in their late teens and early 20s dominated the Brit quiz we observed.
There's one every Tuesday, if you fancy having a go.
