BEER & BEACH ATTRACTING BRIGG RAIL LINE FUN-SEEKERS

A number of people from the Grimsby area used the Saturday only passenger train service to visit Brigg for the Lions' annual beer festival.
This is revealed by Paul Johnson in his Brigg Line Blog report for Saturday, May 13.
Paul also points out that what he calls the bucket and spade season is fast approaching.
On Saturdays you can take an early morning train from Brigg station to Cleethorpes, returning after tea.
The better the weather, the greater the number of mums, dads, grandchildren and kids.
Cleethorpes station is right next to the sand and seafront. You can even get a decent pint.
Catch the train in Brigg at 9.26am and depart Cleethorpes at 6.32pm, to be back here at 7.08pm.
