BRIGG ATTRACTS TOURISTS FROM THE PERSIAN GULF

Brigg Blog has what we think is a fascinating follow-up to our recent post about a traveller from China coming to our town's station by train.
We can now reveal that two visitors from a country in the Persian Gulf have paid us a visit.
A Brigg resident and rail traveller has e-mailed Brigg line campaigner Paul Johnson with the following:
"Brigg is increasingly becoming a station of international significance. After last week's visit by the young man from Beijing, this week's traffic included a brother and sister from Dubai.
"I showed them to their hotel and in doing so gleaned that they had chosen to visit Brigg as actual tourists wishing to experience a typical small English town. Amazing!"
Read about the traveller from China using the Brigg line train service here...

NF ADDS: It would be interesting to know whether the visitors from Dubai found out about Brigg through following this Blog's posts on the web, or whether some other reason was behind their decision to come all this way to our area. And what did they make of Brigg?
