It is a little known fact that senior citizens with a North Lincolnshire Council bus pass are entitled to 50% off local rail journeys travelling from Brigg and Kirton Lindsey on the Saturday-only Brigg line.
Following a reduction on Brigg line fares from the 10th September, below are a few examples of local destinations available and the prices for those with passes.
- Brigg to Gainsborough Central £4.55
- Brigg to Cleethorpes £4.80
- Brigg to Doncaster via Barnetby £5.75
- Brigg to Lincoln Central ( Brigg to Barnetby £1.65 / Barnetby to Lincoln £4.30. = £5.95
- Kirton In Lindsey to Brigg £2.55
- Kirton In Lindsey to Gainsborough Central £3.35
- Kirton In Lindsey to Grimsby Town £5.70
- Kirton In Lindsey to Cleethorpes £6.15
