BRIGG PUB WALL REVAMP IN NEW YEAR

Work on improving the brick wall in Brigg town centre, near the White Hart pub, alongside the Old River Ancholme and close to the County Bridge, will now start in early January, our Brigg & Wolds representatives on North Lincolnshire Council are now reporting.
They are waiting until the river level is dropped for routine maintenance, which councillors say has been delayed.
The wall a little further along the river - near the old Trent Foods factory - was attended to some time ago.
The work near the pub beer garden will complete the job and improve the view for people crossing the bridge and using the towpath on the other side of the river.

The collective noun for gulls = screech....and there is no gull called a seagull......and a gull is not recognised as a bird of the sea....they are coastal birds, never venturing too far out at the seaside.
.ie to a harbour wall, or swarming a nearby fishing boat....
