BRIGG'S TURN TO SUPPORT THE MAN WHO SUPPORTED BRIGG

The Mayor of North Lincolnshire, Coun Trevor Foster, visited Brigg recently to support the District Lions' Festive Fair and the switching on of our brand new Christmas lights in the town centre.
Now Brigg folk have a chance to support an event to be hosted by the district's first citizen -  a Gala Valentine's Ball on Saturday 14 February, 2015 at The Baths Hall, Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe,  in aid of his Mayoral Appeal Fund.
The fund  supports Macmillan Cancer Support and the Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
The Valentine's Ball at the popular steel town venue is at 6.45pm ready for a 7.30pm start. The dress code is black tie/ lounge suit. Tickets for the event cost £35 and this includes a superb three-course meal and coffee.  There will be fantastic entertainment throughout the evening from Generations Apart and Perfect Pair.
Tickets are being sold on a first come, first serve basis.
To book yours, contact North Lincolnshire Council’s Civic Office on 01724 296346 or email anne.torn@northlincs.gov.uk
Tickets must be bought by mid-January 2015 – make sure you don’t miss out.
The Mayor of North Lincolnshire said: “The Valentine’s Ball is going to be a wonderful evening in aid of two extraordinary charities.  Throughout my Mayoral year my aim is to raise as much money as possible for both Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.”
