BRIGG & GOOLE MP ANDREW PERCY TO LAUNCH RIVER ANCHOLME FOOTPATH SCHEME

Brigg & Goole MP Andrew Percy will cut the first sod in January to launch the creation of an improved Ancholme riverside path to run all the way from our County Bridge to South Ferriby.
Brigg & Wolds North Lincolnshire cabinet member Coun Carl Sherwood, the former Brigg Town Mayor, says preliminary work, relating to hedges, will start in the next few weeks.

.....I can see a problem already..imagine someone new to the area cycling down the path, not noticing the low bridge & descending metal abutment....OUCH!
