The Brigg 20/20 Vision Group is pressing for improvements to the public conveniences near The Monument war memorial. They are owned and operated by North Lincolnshire Council.
This year will be an ideal time to undertake the revamp as the town marks 100 years since the outbreak of World War One - The Monument being dedicated after the 1914-18 conflict to remember The Fallen
The efforts to get the East Park WCs in A1 order were reported by Coun Alec Depledge when he gave an update of 20/20 Vision's activities to a Brigg Town Council committee meeting in the Angel Suite.
The town's other set of public conveniences, in Cary Lane, have already been refurbished.
