At first glance, you may think this guy a busking flower-seller wondering
about Brigg. In fact, it's Bob the Basket Man from Northamptonshire in the process of
changing Brigg Town Council's sponsored floral decorations along the
riverbank.
The spring baskets of daffs and tulips needed up-dating and Bob was
exchanging them for baskets of summer pansy-like floral decorations.
Bob
said that he had just travelled from Newcastle where he had seasonally swapped
the floral displays at a number of community centres about the city. He was off
to Derby and Rugby the following day.
His
firm, Tom Butler - Flower Hire Service is located on a farm
in Wellingborough.
Bob is due to return to Brigg about July time to hang his autumnal
floral baskets.
