BRIGG VISITORS WELCOME AT FESTIVAL

FROM KEN HARRISON, BRIGG MATTERS MAGAZINE

There's something different for Brigg folk to visit - Barnetby Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, 12th August.
Judging will be undertaken at 4pm and route maps will be available in Barnetby.

N.F. ADDS: Brigg residents should note that trains will be running from our town to Barnetby where you can walk round and admire the varied scarecrows on show at different locations. The train might interest those intending to have a few pints in the Whistle & Flute pub/restaurant near the village station. Trains leave Brigg for Barnetby at 9.26am and 1.30pm on Saturdays. The return journeys back to Brigg are at 11.41am, 3.48pm and 7.02pm.
