Since online booking was launched in December 2016 at The Pods, 1,150 people have registered.
Coun Carl Sherwood (Brigg & Wolds), Cabinet Member for Community Wellbeing, said: “Online booking at The Pods has been a huge success as it makes it much easier for people to book a class or activity at a time to suit them. Now members at Ancholme Leisure Centre will be able to book whenever they want. There will be no need to pick up the phone or wait until the centre is open.
“Trying to fit exercise in around busy lifestyles can often be a struggle, which is why we wanted to make it as easy as possible with online booking.
“We will be rolling out online booking at all our leisure centres later on this year.”
If you do not have a leisure membership card, contact the customer service desk at Ancholme Leisure Centre to purchase one of the excellent value Health and Fitness membership packages, a booking card, or for a replacement card.
- Online booking will be made available at Baysgarth Leisure Centre in Barton, Epworth Leisure Centre and Riddings Pool, Scunthorpe, during the autumn.
