EXPERT TALK OF INTEREST TO BRIGG AREA HISTORY-LOVERS


Many Brigg folk with an interest in local history will be interested in a talk to be given by a renowned expert in the field of archeology.
Kevin Leahy, whose close connections with North Lincolnshire Museum are well-known, is to give a talk on Saturday, September 2 at Worlaby Village Hall, DN20 0NA (starting at 1pm).
His subject is Flixborough - Anglo-Saxon Settlement Excavation
The event has been organised by the CPRE's Northern Lincolnshire Branch.
The cost is £10 for non-members of the Campaign to Protect Rural England - all welcome, pay on the day.
Refreshments will be available for £1.
