PAUL'S TOP TIP
"To save a bit of money on a direct fare,  customers are advised to split their train ticket at Doncaster.
"Buy one from the guard on the train at Kirton In Lindsey or Brigg to Doncaster day return, £11.70 for adults, £5.85 for children.
"Then purchase off the guard a Doncaster to Leeds day return, £15.70 for Adults and £7.85 for children.
"Total fare £27.40 return for Adults and £13.70 for Children (5-16)."
Paul has previously explained how you can get to Newark and Lincoln for bargain prices from Brigg by train. We've followed his advice several times recently to visit our county capital on a Saturday.
