BRIGG TREE OF LIGHT TO BE IN PLACE AGAIN THIS CHRISTMAS

The Tree of Light in Brigg town centre proved very popular last Christmas.
People placed messages on its branches in memory of loved ones.
This will be repeated for Christmas 2017 and the organisers have already started preparations.
The Tree of Light dedication service and lights switch-on will take place on November 20 at 5.30pm in Chapel Court.
There will be another service to mark the switch-off on January 6.
Memory cards will be available at e cig, St John’s Church, Rosa, the Methodist Church, the Carers' Support Centre, the Tourist Information Office at the Buttercross, Design Orchard and the Deli Diner.
The Christmas raffle is also to be repeated, ticket sales beginning on November 30.
Winners will be announced after the town's Carol Service on  December 10.

We are sure the donated prizes will be just as impressive, if not more so, than those won in 2016.
