BRIGG SPORTS FANS TO SEE DARTS LEGEND IN ACTION

Brigg darts fans have the opportunity to see a former world champion in action.
It will only involve a few miles' drive, use of the No 4 Hornsby bus service from Brigg or booking a local taxi.
John Lowe, who won the world crown three times, will be appearing at a Legend of Darts night at the Dog and Rat pub in nearby Broughton on Saturday, April 29, from 8pm.
"Bring your arrows - you could be playing," says John, who was the first man to record a televised 'perfect game' nine-dart leg on TV.
There will be free admission on the night to enjoy the darts at the Broughton pub, which is on the High Street at DN20 0JR.
The Dog and Rat is also holding a steak night on Saturday, March 11.
You need to book for this one by calling 01652 656112.
Find out more about the pub by visiting www.dogandratbroughton.co.uk
We've had some top darts players performing in Brigg during recent years, including another world champ, Dennis Priestley, at Brigg Town FC's social club.
