BRIGG SPORTSMEN CELEBRATE HAT-TRICK OF WINS


Our thanks go to Tom Brock, of Brigg Town Cricket Club, for kindly forwarding these pictures showing club representatives celebrating after being presented with the Lincolnshire County Cricket League's division four championship pennant and trophy for their efforts last summer.
The showpiece dinner was held last Friday night at plush Hemswell Court - the former RAF officers' mess not far from Caenby Corner - when the chief guest and speaker was former first class cricketer Peter Bowler.
A good time was had by all, including the Brigg Town contingent!
In addition to winning the division, Brigg players also won two individual trophies...
