Rotary Club's across the globe are raising funds for vaccine through the Purple4Polio appeal to get rid of killer disease polio, which is still present in a handful of countries.
Money and awareness are being raised by planting distinctive purple crocuses.
Many are now appearing in public spaces and gardens throughout Brigg, and that has been marked by the presentation of a certificate to Brigg Town Council.
At the start of Monday night's Annual Town Public Meeting in the Angel Suite, Brigg Rotary Club president Ambrose Fowler presented the award to the council, saying that 26,000 crocuses had been planted locally.
Ambrose is pictured handing over the certificate to Town Mayor Coun Ann Eardley.
