40 NEW HOMES FOR BRIGG - DECISION IMMINENT

A scheme which is seeking to provide 40 new homes in Brigg is expected to be considered by planners in the near future.
North Lincolnshire Council's Estate Management at Scunthorpe Civic Centre is seeking outline planning permission for a proposed mixed development of 40 residential apartments, commercial market and enhancements to the new village green on land at Station Road.
Although the application was lodged in mid-October and a consultation period ended in late January with no significant objections raised, North Lincolnshire Council planners have yet to rule on the application.
However, the authority's leader, Coun Rob Waltham (pictured) told Brigg's Annual Town Public Meeting on Monday night in the Angel Suite that it is hoped there will be a decision "in the next month."
