BRIGG SCHOOL'S FUN RUN HELPS THREE WORTHY CHARITIES

FROM JON TAYLOR, SIR JOHN NELTHORPE SCHOOL, BRIGG

The annual Sir John Nelthorpe School Fun Run was held in November and over 400 students ran throughout the day.
This year our chosen charities were the British Heart Foundation, When You Wish Upon a Star and Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Representatives from each charity were invited to school to pick up cheques for £500 each.
The photograph shows the Headteacher, Mr R Biglands, and four students from the school - Sandra Graczyk, Louie Rodgers, Charlie Simmons and Caitlin Togher - who raised over £100 each presenting the cheques to Brian Taylor from The British Heart Foundation, Bryony Johnson from When You Wish Upon a Star and Miss Kenney who represented Pancreatic Cancer UK.

NF ADDS: Jon Taylor is extreme left, Rob Biglands second left on the back row and Brian Taylor in the centre of picture, wearing the red top.
