WHY BRIGG TOILETS HAVE BEEN CLOSED

Roofing problems are the reason for the closure of a set of public conveniences in Brigg.
North Lincolnshire Council, which provides the toilets on East Park near the Tintab shelter, recently pinned 'out of order' notices on the entrances to the men's and ladies' with the gates staying firmly locked.
Coun Rob Waltham, from Brigg, who is the unitary authority's leader, confirmed to us over the weekend that roofing issues are the cause. A survey of the building is to be undertaken.
It's not possible to say at present when the WCs will reopen, but we'll endeavour to keep Brigg Blog followers informed once news is to hand.
As our picture (below) shows, the roof needs work doing to make it leak-free - if we can use that phrase in this context!
