BRIGG SUGAR FACTORY REUNION 2019 DETAILS ANNOUNCED
Details of the annual Brigg Sugar Factory reunion have been finalised for 2019 and we forecast a big attendance.
The factory at Scawby Brook was a major employer in the town between 1928 when the facility opened and its closure in the early 1990s.
Reunions have been held for many years and are aimed at former workers.
The lunch will take place on Thursday, October 3 at Elsham Golf Club. People are asked to be at the venue by noon for the meal at 1pm.
The costs are: 2 Courses £15.50p, 3 Courses £17.50p.
All payments, confirmations of attendance and menu selections must be received by the organisers, Gordon Dobbs & Pete Robbins, before Friday, September 27 AT THE VERY LATEST.
All dishes will be home cooked and prepared freshly in the club's kitchen.

Chicken Liver Parfait with Toasted Sourdough
Duo of Melon with Passion fruit Sorbet
Beef & Ale Pie with Mushroom Gravy
Roast Turkey with Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce
Butternut Squash & Roasted Red pepper
Filo Wellington & Spicy Tomato Puree
All dishes to be served with seasonal vegetables & roast potatoes
Fresh Fruit Salad
Salted Caramel Cheesecake with Raspberry Coulis
Apple & Cinnamon Crumble with Custard
Tea & Freshly Percolated Coffee included.
There's a choice or two or three courses, both including tea/coffee, but please confirm all your choices.
It's important for those having 3 courses that they collect a voucher from Pete on the day.
Please make all cheques made payable to Elsham Golf Club.
Dress code is smart casual. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let the organisers know with your menu selections.
