Brigg Blog popped in briefly at the weekend to introduce ourselves to staff at the town's newest shop, wishing them well with their new venture.
Brigg Wool Shop has opened in refurbished ground floor premises once occupied by a Market Place cafe.
The shop - another niche business for Brigg - is there to meet knitting, crochet and felting requirements.
Its arrival means we now have a wool shop next to The Woolie, which is what some local folk call the adjoining pub.
A good job has been done on the shop premises which, some years ago, were granted planning permission for a fast food outlet specialising in chicken dishes (not lamb!). However, this failed to materialise.
