BOARD A TRAIN FROM BRIGG TO ENJOY REAL ALE AND BLUES MUSIC FESTIVAL
People from Brigg can take a passenger train from our station to the annual Cleethorpes Rail Ale & Blues Festival this weekend, where a range of beers will be on offer.
It's taking place at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway over three days (Friday to Sunday).
However, passenger trains only run from Brigg on Saturdays.
The Light Railway, on the seafront, is within walking distance of Cleethorpes station where trains from Brigg terminate.
Acts on Saturday, September 14 include the Nick Bennett Trio at 2pm and Tombstone Buzzards at 4pm.
You can board a train in Brigg at 9.24am or 1.20pm, returning at 7.17pm from Cleethorpes (see below).
The cost is £10.20 (return) but were are told it's half fare for anybody with a North Lincolnshire bus pass which carries a train symbol.
