REVVING UP FOR BRIGG BIKE NIGHT 2018

People are now searching the internet to find the date of Brigg Bike Night 2018.
A number of them have located Brigg Blog's earlier post which revealed that this major event will be held on Friday, July 6th 2018 - from 5pm.
The necessary road closure notice has been processed for part of Bridge Street where the Bike Night will be centred, and will be in force from 5pm to 10pm.
Many spectators will be visiting the Yarborough Hunt pub, which is hosting Bike Night.
However, the Nelthorpe Arms, on Bridge Street, has now closed so we will not be seeing and photographing, the usual busy scenes in that pub's beer garden.
However, the one directly across the road at the White Hart will be available.
We also expect food and drink stalls/vans to set up shop for Bike Night, from which visitors can get a bite to eat.
With a conservative estimate of 1,000 people attending Brigg Bike Night 2018, the event will benefit many businesses, as folk who have taken a look at the gleaming machines head off into the town centre.
Further  Brigg Bike Night details will appear on this blog nearer the time.
Barton Bike Night, which is attending by many people from the Brigg area, will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2018 - in the town centre - from 4pm to 9pm.

A busy scene in the beer garden at the Nelthorpe Arms pub during a previous Brigg Bike Night. Sadly, the pub has now closed.
