Latest monthly crime figures for Brigg have been released through www.police.uk
They are for April 2018 when 47 crimes in various categories were recorded.
This was a reduction of eight on March's total of 55.

- Possession of weapons 1

- Robbery 0
- Shoplifting 1
- Theft from the person 0
- Vehicle crime 3
- Violence and sexual offences 20
Six others were committed on, or near, the Water's Edge estate - just outside Brigg but included in the police statistics as being within a one-mile radius of the town centre.
By way of comparison, April 2017 saw 61 crimes in Brigg.
There were 51 crimes in April 2016.
