ALDI CONFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO BUILD A NEW STORE IN BRIGG
Aldi today confirmed its commitment to building a new store in Brigg.
One of the questions Brigg Blog gets asked is: Do you know when Aldi will be starting work on its new outlet in the town?
It is now 20 months since North Lincolnshire Council granted planning permission for a site off the A18 on Bridge Street.
Would-be shoppers are very keen to know when they will be able to take advantage of the international retailer's wide range of products at affordable prices.
Some people who've mentioned it to us fear the store may have been put on hold.
However, after Brigg Blog raised the issue, an Aldi spokesperson told us today (Wednesday, June 20): “We are committed to bringing a new store to Brigg and will update the local community when we are ready to start on site.”
This statement will be seen as very good news by many people living in Brigg and surrounding villages.
