Brigg organisations are already promoting New Year events.
Our eye was taken by a tartan-bordered poster for a charity celebratory Burns' Night, to be held on Friday, January 26.
The Rotary Club of Brigg will be hosting the function in the Angel Suite, meet 7am for 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £25 and include a sumptuous three-course dinner and after-dinner entertainment.
A licensed bar will operate, and those attending are asked to don kilts or black tie wear.
Early reservations are recommended for what promises to be a popular event.
