TRY OUR BRIGG CIVIC QUIZ

If you live in Brigg, like a quiz and think you are quite keyed up about the local community, read on...
A) Can you name Brigg's first 'first citizen'? By which we mean the initial Brigg Town Mayor, appointed from the ranks of the newly-formed Brigg Town Council. He served in office for 12 months, from spring 1974.
B) Who was Town Mayor when the  Queen paid us a visit during her Silver Jubilee year, 1977?
C) When was former Royal Navy veteran Coun George Hewson  our Town Mayor in the 1980s? Many townsfolk will recall his shop on the Newlands estate. North Lincolnshire Council was later to name its Station Road office block after him, as a lasting tribute to his hard work for the community.
D) When did Chris Gunnee, pictured above, serve as Town Mayor during the 1990s?
