EARLY CHRISTMAS BOX FOR BRIGG HOUSEHOLDS

It's a red letter day for people living in one area of Brigg.
After the old post box was damaged at the junction of Wrawby Road and East Parade, the postal authorities gave the stamp of approval to a replacement.
After some time it was installed but in late September we reported the letter opening (pictured above) being blocked off for reasons unknown.
Now we are pleased to say that it is fully operational.
It's great to see a major national concern installing a replacement rather than opting out and claiming it would have been uneconomic to do so.
Well done, Royal Mail.
