A Brigg football team has made it through to the semi-finals of a knockout competition.
On Saturday (November 18) Briggensians FC won their quarter-final tie in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League's Tortank Barton Brotherhood Cup.
They beat Limestone Rangers Reserves 4-1 at home with goals from Stuart Briscoe (2), Ben Lingard and Phil Cole.
Both these teams play in Division Two.
Barnetby United were in Division One action on Saturday, losing 5-1 on their visit to The Butchers Arms.
Barnetby's goalscorer was Harry Dunnion.
Barnetby United Reserves lost 2-1 when hosting A.F.C. Queensway at Silver Street.
On the mark for Barnetby was Jeffrey Dove.
