North Lincolnshire Council has agreed a £15,000 Brigg grant from its Community Grand Fund Budget.
This is usually the maximum payment made through this scheme.
The public money will go to towards providing new disabled toilet facilities at St John's Church Hall, on Bigby Street, which is used for a wide range of community events.
The total cost of the project is £23,000, with 10 per cent coming from fundraising.
In the same batch of applications, North Lincolnshire Council also agreed the following Brigg area grants:
- Hibaldstow Brownies for premises hire £720.
- St Hybald’s Church Hall, Hibaldstow, purchase of ceiling-mounted screen, £150.
Brigg Town Council helped by funding a new cooker for the kitchen.
