NEW LOOK APPROVED FOR BRIGG TAKEAWAY PREMISES

Plans to install a new shop front within Brigg town centre have been approved by North Lincolnshire Council.
The premises at 45 Wrawby Street, within the Conservation Area, are occupied by popular fast food takeaway Marmaris, pictured below.
The council has now granted permission for a replacement shop front.
The application was submitted, through agents, by the owner of the building.
Planners were told that the existing "detrimental" shop front would be replaced by a more appropriate design.
The new timber shop front will incorporates traditional details such as pilasters, plinth, cornices and mullions.
There will be a larger window "to mimic the more traditional shop fronts on the town centre."
Brigg Town Council told North Lincolnshire planners that it supported the application.
