LIVE MUSIC TO ENJOY IN BRIGG PUBS

More live music can be enjoyed in Brigg pubs this week, we are pleased to inform you.

This is a very welcome trend, in our opinion and will attract additional custom.

On Friday evening (September 9) Sunny Daye appears at the Nelthorpe Arms, on Bridge Street. We trust the artiste's name will be reflected in the weekend weather!

Saturday night (10th) will see The Undecided performing at the Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street,  from 9pm. We've heard good things about this band.
The Britannia now has a new landline telephone number you can use for food bookings and to gain information about events, etc. It is 01652 794011.
Saturday night will be the last for the current 'mine hosts' who are about to leave for a hostelry on the North Bank.

Friday night concerts at the Nelthorpe will continue on September 16 with Tony Pendleton providing the entertainment, followed by Bash on the 23rd and Geoff Wilson on the 30th.

Meanwhile, at the Woolpack, in the Market Place, work to refurbish the fabric of this historic hostelry continues, with scaffolding up while  the chimney stacks are given attention.

It's always pleasing to report on improvements being made to buildings in the Conservation Area.
