JESS GLYNNE FANS IN BRIGG AREA PLEASE NOTE: LAST TICKETS ON SALE FOR HER LINCOLNSHIRE GIG

Chart topper Jess Glynne’s ‘Rasen Rocks’ concert at Market Rasen Racecourse on Saturday is heading for a potential capacity crowd.
The top two public enclosures are sold out, with tickets still on sale for the Lawn Enclosure.
The strong advice from the racecourse is to book tickets now to avoid potential disappointment.
Twelve months ago, the corresponding concert with Sir Tom Jones attracted a modern-day record attendance at Lincolnshire’s only racecourse.
First coming into the public consciousness as the vocalist on Clean Bandit’s Grammy Award winning and #1 hit Rather Be, Jess Glynne has become one of the biggest UK breakthrough acts of recent years. Her number-one charting debut album I Cry When I Laugh turned double platinum in the UK. She is also only the second British female solo artist after Cheryl to have five number-one singles in the UK.
Jockey Club Live combines racing and musical entertainment. On Saturday, the gates at the racecourse will open at 3pm. The first horse race is at 5.40pm, with Jess Glynne coming on stage after the final race which is at 8.15pm.
Tickets for adults and children are £33 for the Lawn Enclosure and can be purchased at http://marketrasen.thejockeyclub.co.uk or through the ticket line on 0344 579 3009.
Jess Glynne said: “It’s going to be great fun playing Market Rasen Racecourse after the races. I love outdoor shows and can’t wait to share some summer evenings with my fans.”
The singer will be donating a portion of her fee to equine charity, Retraining of Racehorses, which Jockey Club Live is matching.
Nadia Gollings, General Manager, Market Rasen Racecourse, said:“It is thrilling that so many thousands of people will be coming to the racecourse for Saturday’s horse racing and the concert. After the great success of ‘Rasen Rocks’ in 2015 with Sir Tom Jones, with a record crowd of visitors, we are counting down the days to this year’s event. My advice for those people who have yet to book their places is to do so as soon as possible.”
Market Rasen Racecourse is staging 22 jump racing meetings in 2016 and is a leading conference and events centre in the East Midlands.  More information is available at www.marketrasenraces.co.uk
