UPDATE ON 'YEAR-ROUND' HOLIDAYS IN BRIGG PLAN

The public consultation period has now ended for a planning application seeking  permission to permit year-round holiday use of the Brigg Marina site, off Mill Lane.
There were no comments submitted to planners by members of the public.
North Lincolnshire highways and the council's environmental health (commercial) section were consulted as part of the planning process and no concerns were voiced.
Planning permission was granted in 2003 to permit the erection of 27 log cabins.
However, a condition was attached saying the cabins "shall be solely used as holiday accommodation and shall not be occupied between 31 January and 31 March in each calendar year."
The current application, seeking to vary that condition, is now being considered by the council.
Brigg Marina is actually in Scawby parish. It's a fair distance from Mill Lane and  best viewed by going down Cadney Road and looking across the Old River Ancholme.
With thanks to Ken Harrison for the picture.
