BRIGG TOWN FC LOOKING TO CASH IN WITH GOOD CUP RUN


Brigg Town FC remain on the Road to Wembley, following yesterday's 2-1 home victory over Leicestershire team Blaby and Whetstone in the preliminary round.
Brigg left it late o score the winning goal at the Hawthorns.
The Zebras' reward is a visit King's Lynn Town in the first qualifying round on Saturday, September 3.
The winners of that tie will receive £3,000 in what is now known as the Emirates FA Cup.
King's Lynn Town are known as the Linnets.
Brigg Town Reserves lost 2-1 at Horncastle Town yesterday in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier Division.
