Brigg Horse Fair 2016 gave people the chance to chat as they enjoyed toured the event and watched the steeds being paraded and traded.

Members of the the traveller community donated to Brigg Town Mayor Coun Ann Eardley's Appeal Fund to help worthy causes. Deputy Town Mayor Coun Sharon Riggall was also at the fair, helping with the charity collection.
Among others enjoying the event was Sam Gregory, from Brigg, who has been supporting Brigg Horse Fair for decades and who played an important role in keeping it going in the 1990s when things were at a low ebb.
