VISITOR INFORMATION IN BRIGG LOOKS SET TO BE IMPROVED

Ways to improve the information available to visitors in Brigg will be discussed by members of the Town Council.
When the Property and Services Committee meets in the Lounge of the Angel Suite on Wednesday, April 9, from  7.45pm, the following will be considered:

  • Hire of artificial floral displays to improve the aesthetic appearance of the  railway station area.
  • Purchase and installation of a noticeboard near the junction of Station Road and Albert Street to publicise rail timetables and other relevant information to promote  use of the service on the line from  Cleethorpes and Barnetby to Gainsborough, Retford and Sheffield (better known locally as The Brigg Line).
  • Consider refurbishment of the existing tourist information boards in the Angel and Old Courts Road car parks, near the White Horse pub and in Bridge Street.
  • Refurbishment of the old Brigg Urban District Council Toll Boards in Wrawby Street and Bridge Street.

This committee meeting is open to interested members of the public.
