Brigg Blog recalls meeting Brigg and Goole MP Andrew Percy one Friday afternoon a year or two ago in the Ancholme Leisure Centre sports hall at a "green" power station information event - the proposed site in Scawby parish being a few yards outside his constituency. As he pointed out, the issue was of interest to the community he represents.
We were reminded of that when a Twitter message came our way, dated April 7, from Michelle Rempel, Member of Parliament for Calgary Centre North & Minister of State (Western Economic Diversification), starting: "Dear constituents of Brigg and Goole, I can confirm your MP has been sighted in the Canadian #HoC."
We think that hash tag refers to the Canadian Parliament.
