Phil Brooker, of Brigg, was interested by our observations about the latest farmers' market not being very
busy. And he's come up with an interesting point.
Phil says holding the market on the fourth Saturday of the month does not always
coincide with the end-of-the-month pay day. He thinks that might be something for the market organisers at North Lincolnshire Council to bear in mind and
perhaps think about holding the event at the end of the month, to
coincide with customers' monthly pay day (in many cases).

This is not a new thought. ask any trader on the market and they will tell you that this has been discussed over and over again. FARMA will not hold the market on any other day in Brigg because the traders are already booked on other markets. Remember its not NLC on their own that organise this all traders are FARMA registered and attend other markets all over the area.
