BRIGG VILLAGE' GREEN' UPDATE

Brigg Blog has to use the inverted commas around the term 'Village Green' as it's not our phrase but the one being used in official circles for something a market town of 800-plus years is acquiring. The aim is to create a communal, public area on what many of us call The Paddock, off Station Road.
Coun Rob Waltham, who is one of the Brigg and Wolds representatives on North Lincolnshire Council as well as being a cabinet member and town councillor,  suggests things are progressing well, with a village green group formed which is to meet again in September.
