LITTER-PICKING REQUEST MADE TO TESCO IN BRIGG

Tesco has been asked to undertake litter-picking on land near its Brigg store.
This was revealed by Coun Nigel Sherwood when he gave the monthly North Lincolnshire Council Brigg & Wolds Ward report to Brigg Town Council in the Angel Suite.
At an earlier meeting, councillors were informed that a member of the public had been in touch with concerns about litter near the road adjacent to Tesco between the Cary Lane turning circle and the B & M store.
Coun Rob Waltham, who is  leader of the North Lincolnshire authority, said they would look at this issue.
Coun Sherwood also made reference to discussions about the future of the large metal 'body shop'  building, pictured here, near Tesco's Barnard Avenue store.

Brigg & Goole MP Andrew Percy is understood to be involved in this process.
Previously used for vehicle repairs, the shed has been empty for a number of years.
It stands on the edge of the Tesco and B&M store car parks.
