CELEBRATING 180 YEARS' SPORT IN BRIGG

A new exhibition featuring pictures of the past, sporting memorabilia, old newspaper articles  and memories is now open at Brigg Heritage Centre.
It will run for several months, giving those interested every opportunity to pop in and take a look.
Brigg Blog - and many others - have contributed items.
Its full title is Sport at the Rec - Wickets, Rackets, Footballs & Sticks.
Cricket, football and hockey are the main sports featured in this exhibition "uncovering Brigg's extraordinary Sporting Heritage."
The Heritage Centre is open to the public every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am to 2pm; Saturday opening is 10am to 3pm.
The centre is within the Angel building, off the Market Place. Enter through the Courtyard and turn right. It is one floor up (lift available).
If you haven't been to the centre before and are planning to view the sporting exhibition, make sure you visit the other galleries while you are there.
