BRIGG TO CELEBRATE CENTENARY OF ROYAL AIR FORCE


People from the Brigg area will be most welcome at a celebration of the the Royal Air Force's first 100 years.
This will take place on Saturday, May 29 at 11.30am, the venue being St John's Church.
Hymns will be sung and those attending will hear a brief history of the RAF since 1918.
Attending the celebration service will be the Bishop of Grimsby, the Rt Rev David Court.
Refreshments will be available.

There were bomber bases at Elsham and Kirmington during WW2, with fighters operating from Hibaldstow.
