NEW DATE FOR BRIGG SCHOOL REUNION

A new date has been set for a school reunion in Brigg involving former pupils.
Due to this week's prolonged and often heavy rain, the cricket match on the field at Sir John Nelthorpe School will not take place tonight, Friday, as planned.
It will now be played on Friday, July 7 - players being asked to meet at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
A Briggensians' X1 will be playing a Sir John Nelthorpe School XI.
Following the game there will be a social reunion for former pupils at Wetherspoon's White Horse pub in Brigg town centre.
All former pupils of SJN, Brigg Grammar and the High School are very welcome to attend.

Softies!
In my school days, we were thrown out onto the playing fields in all sorts of climatic conditions - dense fog, complete white-out snowstorms, earthquakes...and there was even one occasion when a biplane, with engine problems, landed on our footie pitch and broke a wing on a goal post...I was goalie (admittedly, in the other goal)..and look at me now.....a complete physical wreck!
