BRIGG HORSE FAIR 2017 TO PROVE POPULAR ATTRACTION

Brigg Horse Fair 2017 falls on a Saturday - not a working day for many lucky people - which suggests the traditional event will see a big turnout of spectators on August 5.
They will watch the steeds being paraded and sold on land once occupied by the railway station goods depot and sidings.
Traders and their families will come to Brigg from many parts of the north and midlands.
Spectators will also be drawn from a wide area.
As passenger trains come to Brigg on a Saturday and the fair will be held next to the station, even first time visitors to the town will have no problem finding the venue.
It's a free spectacle - just go along. But please note that there will be no car parking available to spectators on the site.
The best time to visit Brigg Horse Fair is between 9.30am and 1.30pm.
